Francisco Santos Olalla is the Director of the School of Engineering and Industrial Design at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where he serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical, Chemical, and Industrial Design Engineering, specializing in Continuum Mechanics and Structural Theory. With a background in industrial engineering and extensive experience leading structural control, project assessment, and structural pathology units in major technical institutions, he has built a distinguished career that bridges engineering practice with academic leadership.
